The "Companion" is a full tang heavy duty field utility knife suited for a number of camping, hunting and in the field chores. The knife features an overall length of 10 1/2" with a straight edge 5.25" blade constructed of 1095 Cro-Van steel, flat ground providing a sharp edge and better edge retention. The thick blade has a HRC hardness rating of 56-58 allows for prying, splitting kindling, or slicing. The unique drop point blade is also handy when field dressing or skinning wild game. The handle which is constructed of Grivory (a Swiss made glass reinforced nylon) is designed for comfort as well as control during use and has a wrist lanyard hole.
