The quality materials used and their classic construction, now with non slip Elastomer handles, double guards, and pinned on butt caps-are what made these the best all-purpose fighting utility knives manufactured today. Made exclusively in Olean, New York and proudly stamped KA-BAR. Knife comes with a KA-BAR sheath constructed of a tough hard shell plastic which is resistant to salt water and provides a hard surface which protects during rough use. Sheath has multiple tie-down ports allowing several mounting positions including up side down. The #5012 is the Foliage Green version of the legendary knife offering a full size blade with a partially serrated edge.
